Began Carpet Cleaning career in May 2000 Water damage restoration since May 2000

Worked over a period of five full-time years for two reputable companies doing water damage restoration, steam cleaning of carpet, upholstery, vehicles etc.

April 2004: Opened new company called Expert Carpet Care. Returned to re-attend courses and re-certify under carpet and upholstery cleaning and water damage restoration as an independant under his own company. Learned more new technology and techniques than the original courses had taught three years earlier with the IICRC. Richard's Wife, Heather Baldwin left her current position as a marketing and graphics designer/office manager to work full time for Expert Carpet Care.

End of 2008 Business has done well!  Customers are happy and "word of mouth" has increased sales by 100% every year.  The new challenge is hiring and training capable people to keep up with the ever expanding workload.  We have plans for 2009 to purchase a second truckmount unit and have 2 full time techs on the road while Heather and her hired assistants run the shop!
